When Schools Get it Right

One day I hope we will look back at history and wonder how we ever let multinational conglomerates that pump out highly processed foods packed with sugar and artificial ingredients buy their way into our children's school cafeterias and fill them with massive advertising covered vending machines.

My son’s school recently carted their Coca-Cola vending machines out of the cafeteria and into a back hallway replacing them with these beauties. While I had hoped they would disappear from the property forever, at least it is a step in the right direction.

In the future I hope all cafeteria walls are lined with lush green hydroponic stations where children learn how food is grown, harvested and turned into delicious wholesome meals right before their eyes.
