Apples

Apples truly are healthy to the core :) The pectin in apples promotes beneficial intestinal flora that helps to support healthy colon function. They are nutrient dense, high in soluble fiber, vitamin C, K, B1, B2, B6, A & E, potassium, manganese, copper, polyphenols and more. One apple contains between 2-4 grams of fiber, depending on the size. That's really good considering we need about 30 grams!

Health Tip:

Eat the skin to get that extra fiber and antioxidants. If you suffer from constipation, high cholesterol or looking to drop a few pounds, try eating an apple a day!
